Mary Russell Mitford

Mary Russell Mitford (Midford) (1788-1855) was christened 29 Feb. 1788 in Alresford, Hampshire, England. She was the daughter of George Mitford and Mary Russell. She died 12 Jan. 1855 in Swallowfield, Berkshire, England. She was one of the eminent women for whom Wilford Woodruff initiated proxy temple ordinance work in Aug. 1877.
