John Philip Kemble

John Philip Kemble (1757-1823) was born 1 Feb. 1757 in Prescot, Lancashire, England. He was the son of Roger Kemble and Sarah Ward. He married Priscilla Hopkins on 8 Dec. 1787. He died 26 Feb. 1823 in Lausanne, Canton of Vaud, Switzerland. He was one of the eminent men for whom Wilford Woodruff initiated proxy temple ordinance work in Aug. 1877.
