Jean Armour Burns

Jean Armour Burns (1765-1834) was born 3 Mar. 1765 in Mauchline, Ayrshire, Scotland, United Kingdom. She was the daughter of James Armour and Mary Smith. She married Robert Burns on 5 Aug. 1788 in Mauchline, and they had nine children. She died 26 Mar. 1834 in Mill Hole Brae, Dumfries, Dumfriesshire, Scotland. She was one of the eminent women for whom Wilford Woodruff initiated proxy temple ordinance work in Aug. 1877.
