Franklin Pierce

Franklin Pierce (1804-1869) was born 23 Nov. 1804 in Hillsborough, Hillsborough Co., New Hampshire. He was the son of Benjamin Pierce and Anna Kendrick. He married Jane M. Appleton on 19 Nov. 1834 in Amherst, Hillsborough Co., New Hampshire. He died 6 Oct. 1869 in Concord, Merrimack Co., New Hampshire. He was one of the eminent men for whom Wilford Woodruff initiated proxy temple ordinance work in Aug. 1877.
