Euphrosyne Parepa Carvell Rosa (1836-1874) was born 7 May 1836 in Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland. She was the daughter of Dimitrus Parepa and Elizabeth Seguine. She married Henry De Wolfe Carvell on 2 Dec. 1863 in Bloomsbury, Camden, England; widowed 26 Apr. 1865. She married Carl Rosa on 25 Feb. 1867 in New York City, New York Co., New York. She died 21 Jan. 1874 in London, Middlesex, England. She was one of the eminent women for whom Wilford Woodruff initiated proxy temple ordinance work in Aug. 1877.
