Emily Mary Lamb Cowper Temple Palmerston

Emily Mary Lamb Cowper Temple Palmerston (1787-1869) was born 21 Apr. 1787 and christened in Westminster, Middlesex, England. She was the daughter of Peniston Lamb and Elizabeth Milbanke. She married Peter Leopold Cowper on 21 Jul. 1805, and they had five children; widowed in Jun. 1837. She married Henry John Temple Palmerston on 16 Dec. 1839 in Westminster. She died 11 Sep. 1869 in Brocket Hall, Hertfordshire, England. She was one of the eminent women for whom Wilford Woodruff initiated proxy temple ordinance work in Aug. 1877.
