Elizabeth Moulton Barrett Browning

Elizabeth Moulton Barrett Browning (1806-1861) was born 6 Mar. 1806 in Coxhoe Hall, County Durham, England. She was the daughter of Edward Barrett Moulton and Mary Graham Clarke. She married Robert Browning on 12 Sep. 1846 in St. Marylebone, London, Middlesex, England, and they had one child. She died 29 Jun. 1861 in Florence, Tuscany, Italy. She was one of the eminent women for whom Wilford Woodruff initiated proxy temple ordinance work in Aug. 1877.
