Charlotte of Belgium (1840-1927) was born 7 Jun. 1840 in Laeken, Brussels, Brabant, Belgium. She was the daughter of Leopold I and Louise-Marie. She married Maximilian I on 27 Jul. 1857 in Brussels, Brabant, Belgium. She died 19 Jan. 1927 in Meise, Brabant, Belgium. She was one of the eminent women for whom Wilford Woodruff initiated proxy temple ordinance work in Aug. 1877.
