February 03, 1873 ~ Monday

3. In company with Mrs Woodruff & som 40 other I took
cars at 5 oclok wento to Ogden, then to Box Elder Junction
waited nearly all day for the Utah Northern cars to go to
Logan we Telegraphed to Bishop Nichals to send us sleigh
to take us to BoxBrigham City which he did, but we had ownly
time to get supper forebefore the 2 Engines came down
with one car & they thought they could get us to Logan
that night so we went aboard Mrs Woodruff stoped with
Phebe. we went on with the cars & after trying to get
through the snow drifts untill Midnight we returned to
Brigham City. Elder Taylor & myself walked from
the switch to Brigham City & spent the rest of the night 100 M
