Sarah Allen Browning

Sarah Allen Browning (1765-1846) was born 25 Aug. 1765. She was the daughter of Clifton Allen and Susannah Jones. She married Edmund Browning on 13 Feb. 1790 in Caswell Co., North Carolina, and they had seven children. Her son was ordained a Patriarch on 17 May 1873, and Wilford Woodruff recorded the event in his journal. She died 8 Sep. 1846 in Pottawattamie Co., Iowa Territory.
