Samuel Thompson Barber
Samuel Thompson Barber (1800-1861) was born 21 Oct. 1800 in Connecticut. He was the son of William Barber and Mary Thompson. He married Phebe Beckwith, a distant cousin of Wilford Woodruff, on 25 May 1825 in Farmington, Hartford Co., Connecticut. He visited with Wilford Woodruff on 10 July 1837 in Collinsville, Hartford Co., Connecticut. He died 25 Jun. 1861 in Canton, Hartford Co., Connecticut. Wilford Woodruff was baptized by proxy for Samuel on 29 Sep. 1869.
