Noah Porter Jr.
Noah Porter Jr. (1781-1866) was born in Dec. 1781 in Farmington, Hartford Co., Connecticut. He was the son of Noah Porter and Rachel Merrills. He married Mehitable Meigs on 20 Dec. 1808 in Middletown, Middlesex Co., Connecticut. He taught Sunday School to Wilford Woodruff, and Wilford visited with him on 6 Aug. 1841 in Farmington. He died 24 Sep. 1866 in Farmington.
