Milton Holmes
Milton Holmes (1811-1881) was born 16 Jan. 1811 in Rowley, Essex Co., Massachusetts. He was the son of Nathaniel Holmes and Sarah Harriman. He married Aphia S. Woodman on 25 Jan. 1846 in Wilton, Franklin Co., Maine. He was baptized in 1833. He and Wilford Woodruff traveled together and corresponded occasionally from 1834 through 1845. He died 30 Apr. 1881 and was buried in Wilton.
