Mary Downing Fabyan
Mary Downing Fabyan (1785-1881) was born 7 Aug. 1785 in Arundel, York Co., Maine. She was the daughter of John Downing and Mary Clark. She married Joshua Fabyan, an uncle of Wilford Woodruff's wife Phebe Whittemore Carter, on 13 Dec. 1803 in Arundel, and they had five children. She was mentioned in a letter written to Wilford Woodruff from his brother-in-law, Ilus Fabyan Carter, on 5 Apr. 1853. She died 2 Jan. 1881 in Scarborough, Cumberland Co., Maine.
