Mary Cooper Stimson Carver
Mary Cooper Stimson Carver (1801-1866) was born 6 Oct. 1801 in Vinalhaven, Hancock Co., Maine. She married Walter Stimson on 28 Oct. 1823 in Vinalhaven, and they had one child; widowed after 16 Feb. 1827. She married Ebenezer Waterman Carver on 4 Dec. 1828 in Vinalhaven, and they had four children. She was baptized by Wilford Woodruff on 1 Apr. 1838 on North Fox Island, Waldo Co., Maine. She was visited by Wilford Woodruff on 17 Aug. 1839 in Rochester, Sangamon Co., Illinois. She died 19 Jan. 1866 and was buried in Donahue, Scott Co., Iowa.
