Lydia Knapp Gibbs

Lydia Knapp Gibbs (1786-1846) was born 31 Mar. 1786 in Spencer, Worcester Co., Massachusetts. She was the daughter of Enoch Knapp and Lydia Bemis. She married Elijah Gibbs on 19 Jun. 1808 in Spencer, and they had eight children. She died 12 Oct. 1846 in Sturbridge, Worcester Co., Massachusetts. Her proxy temple ordinances were initiated by Lucy Bigelow Young on 21 Aug. 1877 in conjunction with the proxy temple ordinances for the eminent men and women chosen by Wilford Woodruff.
