John White Chickering
John White Chickering (1808-1888) was born 19 Mar. 1808 in Woburn, Middlesex Co., Massachusetts. He was the son of Joseph Chickering and Betsy White. He married Frances Eveline Knowlton 9 Nov. 1830 in Phillipston, Worcester Co., Massachusetts. He delivered a lecture, which Wilford Woodruff attended, at a Presbyterian church in Portland, Cumberland Co., Maine on 29 Oct. 1837. He died 9 Dec. 1888 in Brooklyn, Kings Co., New York.
