George Boothby
George Boothby (1784-1866) was born 11 Apr. 1784 in Limington, York Co., Maine. He was the son of Jonathan Boothby and Anna Haselton and a distant cousin of Phebe Whittemore Carter, who married Wilford Woodruff. He married Miriam Boothby on 31 Jan. 1813 in Buxton, York Co., Maine. He died 30 Jul. 1866 in Saco, York Co., Maine. He was baptized by proxy on 1 Jun. 1870.
