Emma Shinn (Sheen) Holder Parson (1825-1911) was born 10 Apr. 1825 in Berrow, Worcestershire, England. She was the daughter of James Shinn and Maria Loveridge. She married Joseph Holder in 1846 in Upton upon Severn, Worcestershire, England, and they had five children; widowed in 1857. She married John Parson on 18 Nov. 1861 in Eldersfield, Worcestershire, England, and they had two children. She was baptized under the direction of Wilford Woodruff on 10 May 1840 in Berrow. She died 30 Oct. 1911 in Salem, Utah Co., Utah.
