Daniel Hanmer Wells
Daniel Hanmer Wells (1814-1891) was born 27 Oct. 1814 in Trenton, Oneida Co., New York. He was the son of Daniel Wells and Catherine Chapin. He married Eliza Rebecca Robison on 9 Mar. 1837 in Hancock Co., Illinois; participated in plural marriage. He was baptized 9 Aug. 1846 in Nauvoo, Hancock Co., Illinois. He served in various church callings which brought him into contact with Wilford Woodruff regularly throughout his life. He died 24 Mar. 1891 in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake Co., Utah Territory.
