Daniel Carter (1719-1779) was born 8 Apr. 1719 in Salisbury, Essex Co., Massachusetts Bay, British Colonial America. He was the son of Ephraim Carter and Martha Stevens and a great-grandfather of Phebe Whittemore Carter, who married Wilford Woodruff. He married Hannah Fowler. He died about Oct. 1779 in Concord, Rockingham Co., New Hampshire. He was baptized posthumously on 2 Jun. 1869, and Wilford Woodruff served as proxy.
