Ammon (BofM)

Ammon was a son of Mosiah who initially sought to destroy the Church. After repenting, he chose to serve a mission to the Lamanites and helped convert many souls to Christ. He is a scriptural figure in the Book of Mormon referred to in a letter written to Wilford Woodruff.

Note: It appears that Mary Ellen Harris Abel Kimball accidentally combined another Book of Mormon story with the story of Ammon when she mentioned him.
