Day in the Life

Transcript

On April 11, 1834, Wilford Woodruff left his home to join Zion’s camp on their trek to Jackson County, Missouri. In his journal he wrote:

“I told Brother Parley (Pratt) our circumstances. He told me it was my duty to try to prepare myself and go up to Zion. And accordingly, I used every exertion to settle my accounts arrange my affairs and prepare myself to join my brethren to go to Missouri.”

Wilford Woodruff displayed great faith in answering the call to join Zion’s camp. A convert of just a few months at the time, Wilford placed his faith in the Lord and left everything behind to join the saints in Jackson County, Missouri. When modern day prophets and apostles make calls to action, I hope that I can have the same faith as Wilford Woodruff.

What would you be willing to sacrifice to help build the kingdom of God?
