"I wanted to share an insight I received In my study of the introduction to the Book of Mormon last week. I take comfort from the Prophet Joseph Smith's words when he recorded 'that the Book of Mormon was the most correct of any book on earth...' I've read this and heard it many times, but it went straight to my heart and understanding this time, especially as a researcher on this project. 

"As I strive to identify individuals and locate their records from other books, I should remember to use the Book of Mormon as my primary resource and the Holy Ghost as my compass in my genealogical efforts. I know by doing so, the Lord Jesus Christ will guide my every search with the help of the Holy Ghost. After all, this precious book is an ancient record of God's dealings with people on the earth. They are His words. We are His children. He knows how and when to find, keep, and preserve records perfectly. He knows where to guide us to find even the smallest of details that would identify even ONE soul. As you know, sometimes it's that one soul guiding us to them and their loved ones so they can progress eternally! 

"We might be a little group taking on this BIG task to gather and organize Israel, but He reminds us 'that by small and simple things are great things brought to pass' (Alma 37:6). It's my testimony that what we're doing is already having a BIG impact on the salvation of many souls because the Lord IS leading us to them! And think about the impact it's having on our spirits as well!

"'We believe all that God has revealed, all that He does now reveal, and we believe that He will yet reveal many great and important things pertaining to the Kingdom of God' (Articles of Faith 1:9).

"Jesus Christ lives! He is guiding us, revealing important things to us, and helping us in our diligent efforts because we know He loves effort and loves us! God bless!"
