at 9 oclok we moved down the Canyon to the 2nd Mill
& drove up the south fork one Mile & camped for the
night the Presidency & others walked up the Canyon
about 1 mile to visit the Timber there being a vast
amount of pine, Cotton wood, fir & Quaking asp in
those Canyons. we had prayers & sung the songs of
Zion during the evening
