William Blackhurst

William Blackhurst (1807-1864) was born 22 Jun. 1807 in Longton, Lancashire, England. He was the son of David Blackhurst and Ellen Harrison. He married Margaret Stephenson on 22 Nov. 1836 in Penwortham, Lancashire, England; participated in plural marriage. He accompanied Wilford Woodruff when sailing from England to New York in 1841. He died 9 Sep. 1864 in Great Salt Lake City, Great Salt Lake Co., Utah Territory.
