Thomas Ford

Thomas Ford (1800-1850) was born 5 Dec. 1800 in Uniontown, Fayette Co., Pennsylvania. He was the son of Robert Ford and Elizabeth Logue Forquer. He married Frances Hambaugh on 12 Jun. 1828. He was the governor of Illinois from 1842 to 1846 and worked with Wilford Woodruff during that time. He died 3 Nov. 1850 in Peoria Co., Illinois.
