Thomas Cottam

Thomas Cottam (1820-1896) was born 20 Oct. 1820 in West Bradford, Yorkshire, England. He was the son of John Cottam and Catherine Livesay. He married Ann Haworth on 11 Jan. 1841 in Waddington, Yorkshire, England; widowed 1 Oct. 1844. He married Caroline Smith on 29 Oct. 1847 in St. Louis, St. Louis Co., Missouri. He was baptized 2 Feb. 1841 in Waddington. He and Wilford Woodruff corresponded frequently from 1885 to 1892. He died 10 Nov. 1896 in St. George, Washington Co., Utah.
