Thomas Chalmers

Thomas Chalmers (1780-1847) was born 17 Mar. 1780 in Anstruther Easter, Fife, Scotland. He was the son of John Chalmers and Elisabeth Hall. He married Grace Pratt on 9 Aug. 1812 in Kilmany, Fife, Scotland. He died 31 May 1847 in Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland. He was one of the eminent men for whom Wilford Woodruff initiated proxy temple ordinance work in Aug. 1877.
