Susanna Luce Thomas

Susanna Luce Thomas (1808-1886) was born 1 Jan. 1808 in Vinalhaven, Hancock Co., Maine. She was the daughter of Malatiah Luce and Ruth Grant. She married Nathaniel Thomas on 30 Dec. 1828 in Vinalhaven, and they had six children; widowed 5 Jul. 1844. She was sealed to Charles Root Dana about 1846 in Nauvoo, Hancock Co. Illinois. She was baptized before 14 Jan. 1838. She visited with Wilford Woodruff several times in 1838 and 1839, and she traveled in his company to Illinois in 1838. She died 9 Oct. 1886 in Ogden, Weber Co., Utah Territory.
