Samuel Thompson (Thomason) (1709-1793) was born 13 Apr. 1709 in Farmington, Hartford Co., Connecticut, British Colonial America. He was the son of Samuel Thompson and Hannah Lathrop and a great-grandfather of Wilford Woodruff. He married Hannah North on 3 May 1738 in Farmington; widowed 19 Apr. 1760. He married Eunice. He died in 1793 in Farmington. He was baptized by proxy on 30 May 1842.
