Samuel Cole Cossett

Samuel Cole Cossett (Cossitt) (1778-1814) was born 10 Oct. 1778 in Simsbury, Hartford Co., Connecticut. He was the son of Asa Cossett and Mary Cole and a brother-in-law of Azuba Hart, Wilford Woodruff's step-mother. He married Anna Hart about 1803. He died 6 Sep. 1814 in Windsor, Berkshire Co., Massachusetts. His proxy temple ordinance work was initiated by Wilford Woodruff on 29 Sep. 1869.
