Richard Henry Lee

Richard Henry Lee (1732-1794) was born 20 Jan. 1732 in Westmoreland Co., Virginia, British Colonial America. He was the son of Thomas Lee and Hannah Harrison Ludwell. He married Anne Aylett on 3 Dec. 1757; widowed Dec. 1768. He married Anne Gaskins in 1769. He died 19 Jun. 1794 in Chantilly, Westmoreland Co., Virginia. He was a signer of the Declaration of Independence and one of the eminent men for whom Wilford Woodruff initiated proxy temple ordinance work in Aug. 1877.
