Pleasant Green Taylor

Pleasant Green Taylor (1827-1917) was born 8 Feb. 1827 in Bowling Green, Warren Co., Kentucky. He was the son of William Taylor and Elizabeth Patrick. He married Clara Lake on 2 Feb. 1847 in Pottawattamie Co., Iowa; participated in plural marriage. He was baptized about Apr. 1837. He was mentioned in Wilford Woodruff's journals often from 1849 to 1881 and he corresponded with Wilford Woodruff and the First Presidency regarding mission calls to individuals under his ecclesiastical stewardship between 1887 and 1892. He died 16 May 1917 in Harrisville, Weber Co., Utah.
