Naamah (Hannah) Kendel Jenkins Carter Twiss Young (1821-1909) was born 20 Mar. 1821 in Wilmington, Middlesex Co., Massachusetts. She was the daughter of Billings Carter and Betsey Law. She married John Saunders Twiss; widowed. She was sealed to Brigham Young. She was baptized 3 Apr. 1843. She and Brigham Young served in the temple with Wilford Woodruff on 21 Mar. 1877. She died 5 Aug. 1909 in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake Co., Utah.
