Moses Franklin Farnsworth

Moses Franklin Farnsworth (1834-1906) was born 5 Feb. 1834 in Edinburgh, Johnson Co., Indiana. He was the son of Reuben Farnsworth and Mary Laymon. He married Elizabeth Jane Stewart on 26 Feb. 1857 in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake Co., Utah Territory; participated in plural marriage. He was baptized 9 May 1854. He was a recorder in the St. George Temple and the Manti Temple which brought him into regular contact with Wilford Woodruff from 1877 to 1898. He died 25 Feb. 1906 in Manti, Sanpete Co., Utah.
