Marius Ensign

Marius Ensign (1821-1884) was born 18 Aug. 1821 in Simsbury, Hartford Co., Connecticut. He was the son of Zophar Ensign and Priscilla Billings. He married Eliza Ann McKee on 27 Mar. 1849 in Council Point, Pottawattamie Co., Iowa; participated in plural marriage. He was baptized in Sep. 1844. He spoke at several church meetings that Wilford Woodruff attended between 1866 and 1881 in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake Co., Utah Territory, and St. George, Washington Co., Utah Territory. He died 14 Oct. 1884 and was buried in Santa Clara, Washington Co., Utah Territory.
