John Gould

John Gould (1784-1855) was born 21 Dec. 1784 in New Hampshire. He married Oliva Swanson; widowed 2 Sep. 1847. He married Delia Metcalf on 9 Jul. 1848. He was baptized 16 Dec. 1832 in Chautauqua Co., New York. He helped to recruit volunteers for Zion's Camp in 1834, which was attended by Wilford Woodruff. He died 25 Jun. 1855 in Truro Twp., Knox Co., Illinois.
