John Fabyan, b. 1766

John Fabyan (1766-1834) was born 1 Nov. 1766 in Scarborough, Cumberland Co., Maine, British Colonial America. He was the son of Joshua Fabyan and Sarah Brackett and an uncle of Phebe Whittemore Carter, who married Wilford Woodruff. He married Sally Brackett on 1 Jan. 1789 in Portland, Cumberland Co., Maine. He died 7 Sep. 1834 and was buried in Monmouth, Kennebec Co., Maine. His temple proxy ordinance work was initiated by Wilford Woodruff's family members on 30 May 1842 in Nauvoo, Hancock Co., Illinois.
