John Carver

John Carver (1793-1877) was born 12 Apr. 1793 in Vinalhaven, Hancock Co., Maine. He was the son of Thaddeus Carver and Hannah Hall. He married Rhoda Arey on 15 Jan. 1818 in Vinalhaven. He hosted Wilford Woodruff overnight on 27 Sep. 1837 on the South Fox Island, Hancock Co., Maine. He died 3 Nov. 1877 and was buried in Vinalhaven.
