John A. Griswold
John A. Griswold (1808-1877) was born 15 Sep. 1808 in Herkimer Co., New York. He married Maria Stainbrook on 24 Mar. 1839 in Warren Co., Illinois. He hosted Wilford Woodruff overnight on 2 Oct. 1841 in Big Bureau Creek, Bureau Co., Illinois, while Wilford was traveling. He died 15 Jun. 1877 in Milo, Bureau Co., Illinois.
