Jeremiah Reuben Stocking

Jeremiah Reuben Stocking (1833-1901) was born 20 Mar. 1833 in Westfield, Hampden Co., Massachusetts. He was the son of John Jay Stocking and Catherine Emeline Ensign, and a brother of Sarah Delight Stocking, who married Wilford Woodruff. He married Mary Jane Maynard on 11 Jan. 1875; participated in plural marriage. He was baptized in Apr. 1845. He died 11 Sep. 1901 in South Jordan, Salt Lake Co., Utah.
