James Godson Bleak

James Godson Bleak (Blake) (1829-1918) was born 15 Nov. 1829 in London, Surrey, England. He was the son of Thomas Nelson Bleak and Mary Godson. He married Elizabeth Moore on 14 Oct. 1849 in London; participated in plural marriage. He was baptized 8 Feb. 1851 in London. He corresponded with Wilford Woodruff regularly from 1877 to 1898 about the temple in St. George, Washington Co., Utah Territory. He died 30 Jan. 1918 in St. George.
