George Barber

George Barber (1827-1890) was born 11 Nov. 1827 in Cheshunt, Hertfordshire, England. He was the son of Robert Barber and Sarah Wright. He married Adeline Hatch in 1852 in Great Salt Lake City, Great Salt Lake Co., Utah Territory; participated in plural marriage. He was baptized in 1849. He was ordained by Wilford Woodruff to serve as a high priest and first counselor to Bishop Roskelly on 17 Nov. 1878 in Smithfield, Cache Co., Utah Territory. He died 1 Nov. 1890 in Colonia Díaz, Chihuahua, Mexico.
