Friederich Wilhelm Heinrich Alexander von Humbolt (1769-1859) was born 14 Sep. 1769 in Berlin, Brandenburg, Upper Saxon Circle, Holy Roman Empire. He was the son of Alexander Georg von Humbolt and Maria Elisabet von Colomb. He died 6 May 1859 in Berlin. He was one of the eminent men for whom Wilford Woodruff initiated proxy temple ordinance work in Aug. 1877.
