Francis Lewis

Francis Lewis (1713-1802) was born in 1713 in Llandaff, Glamorgan, Wales. He was the son of Francis Lewis and Amy Pettingal. He married Elizabeth Annesley. He died 31 Dec. 1803 in New York City, New York Co., New York. He was one of the eminent men for whom Wilford Woodruff initiated proxy temple ordinance work in Aug. 1877.
