Elizabeth Young Ellsworth

Elizabeth Young Ellsworth (1825-1903) was born 26 Sep. 1825 in Port Byron, Cayuga Co., New York. She was the daughter of Brigham Young and Miriam Works. She married Edmund Ellsworth on 10 Jul. 1842 in Nauvoo, Hancock Co., Illinois, and they had eight children. She was baptized 26 Jun. 1834. She was mentioned in a letter written from Phebe Whittemore Carter Woodruff to Wilford Woodruff dated 6 Oct. 1840, and she participated in temple work with Wilford Woodruff on 29 Mar. 1877. She died 2 Feb. 1903 in Lewisville, Jefferson Co., Idaho.
