Daniel Dunklin

Daniel Dunklin (1790-1844) was born 14 Jan. 1790 near Greenville, Greenville District, South Carolina. He was the son of Joseph Dunklin Jr. and Sarah Margaret Sullivan. He married Emily W. Haley in 1815. He was the governor of Missouri prior to Wilford Woodruff and the Saints' expulsion from Missouri. He died 25 Jul. 1844 near Herculaneum, Jefferson Co., Missouri.
