Chauncey Clark

Chauncey Clark (1787-1855) was born 15 Apr. 1787 in New Britain, Hartford Co., Connecticut. He was the son of Solomon Clark and Elizabeth Smith. He married Eunice Hart, a sister of Azuba Hart who was Wilford Woodruff's step-mother, on 15 Sep. 1818 in New Britain; widowed 16 Oct. 1819. He married Mary J. Smith on 22 Dec. 1824 in Meriden, New Haven Co., Connecticut. He died 16 Dec. 1855 in New Britain. His proxy temple ordinance work was completed by Wilford Woodruff on 27 Jun. 1870 in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake Co., Utah Territory.
