Benjamin Knowlton

Benjamin Knowlton (abt. 1818-1896) was born about 1818 in Maine. He was the son of Ephraim Knowlton and Hannah Barrett. He married Margaret Spaulding on 1 Nov. 1835 in Thomaston, Lincoln Co., Maine; widowed 28 Dec. 1850. He married Caroline S. Gray McMullen on 5 Oct. 1851 in Rockland, Lincoln Co., Maine. He was visited by Wilford Woodruff on 2 Aug. 1838 in East Thomaston, and he visited with Wilford Woodruff in 1849 in Rockland. He died 27 Feb. 1896 in Warren, Knox Co., Maine.
